RPN is a reverse-polish notation shell and interpreter, inspired by Hewlett-Packard's early programmable calculators. Although it is not an emulator, it mostly behaves as an HP calculator except when not relevant for a command-line oriented program.

RPN has been developed on a GNU/Linux system. The user interface is based on the GNU Readline Library.
